How to Change Map, Difficulty, and Rates Print

In this guide, I’ll show you how to switch maps, adjust difficulty, and tune rates safely using the FinnishHost Game Panel.

Step 1: Stop the Server

Stop the service before changing startup options or INI values.

Step 2: Change the Map

1. Open Commandline / Startup Parameters.
2. Pick a map preset (e.g., TheIsland, ScorchedEarth_P, Ragnarok, Valguero_P, Fjordur).
3. Save.

Step 3: Adjust Difficulty

Increase OverrideOfficialDifficulty for higher wild dino levels.

Step 4: Tune Rates

Step 5: Start and Verify

Start the server and check the Web Console for a clean boot.
